Staff Milestones Celebrated at the National Office

Beverly Walters, was presented with a plaque acknowledging her 20 years of service to CPS-ECP! Beverly’s job involves all facets of ensuring that thousands of PCOC, ROC(M) and Membership cards are processed and delivered to CPS-ECP members and successful participants in the Pleasure Craft Operator Card course and Maritime Radio course. Not only does Beverly ensure that new graduates and members get their cards in a timely manner, she also handles the processing of replacement cards.

Vanessa Schmidt, Marketing and Graphics Manager was presented with a plaque acknowledging her 15 years of service to CPS-ECP! Vanessa was hired as a Jr. Graphic Designer in 2003 to assist with print design. Over the years her role at the National office has evolved to ensuring production of courses, seminars, tradeshow material, ads, magazines, electronic newsletters and social media content. She works extensively with the Education Department, Communications, Membership and Marketing Committees to meet their goals and objectives.
