Happy 100th Birthday – P/C/C Doug Comber, JN

Doug Comber

Jan 24, 2019

Family and friends gathered at the Peterborough Naval Academy on the 13th of January to join Past Chief Commander Doug Comber, JN to celebrate his 100 Birthday!

As a former WWII officer in the Royal Canadian Navy, Doug’s passion for the water and his knowledge of boating continued to blossom throughout his many years with CPS-ECP.   Doug currently resides in Bethany, Ontario where he lives on a farm with his daughter and son-in-law.  Thirty years ago, Doug introduced Scottish Highland Cows to the farm. When he’s not out golfing, he’s out checking on the herd.

Congratulations Doug… you are an inspiration to us all!

…you understand now why you came this way.
