The Squamish Yacht Club (SYC) in Howe Sound is a private, non-profit club. Since 1975, club members have demonstrated a passion for cruising and racing. The Club offers its 200+ members a wide spectrum of sailing and boating activities – something for every member of the family. This spectacular deep-water fjord has three marine parks equipped with moorage buoys, several described anchorages and islands to visit.

At the DockFor the more competitive, there are many opportunities to participate in racing at all levels from beginner to advanced. Children are encouraged to try out the Youth Sailing & Kayaking program.

 

For the sociable types, there’s a busy social events calendar, packed with opportunities to meet new people and expand your boating community. The club proudly hosts an outstanding Regatta, stimulating lectures, themed parties, and on-the-water events

Squamish YC RacingSYC enjoys reciprocal privileges at 60+ clubs in the Pacific North West and beyond – and cruising with the club burgee will attract new boating friends!

SYC is known as a progressive, casual, family-friendly club with highly active members taking leadership and responsibility in intra-club boating and environmental issues.
