Conveniently located mid-way between Lunenburg and Shelburne the anchorage off Carter’s Beach is hard to beat for crystal clear water and secluded peace and quiet. You’ll find good shelter from the south and west and a sandy bottom with good holding ground about a 100 or so meters from the beach.

Approaching from the north keep the Spectacle Islands port. People often remark on the similarity of the water colour to the Caribbean, but any confusion will be ended as soon as you dip your toe in the water.
