Updates from the Chief: CPS-ECP Vision, Mission, Values

CPS Vision

Aug 9, 2016

Your Board of Directors has, over the last year, been focusing on gathering information and developing ideas for the future priorities to guide our activities. A key part of those discussions and deliberations has been the renewal of our common, shared core statements of what we strive for, how we can achieve that, and what we believe in. The Board recently approved renewed statements of the CPS-ECP Vision: defining what we are, the CPS-ECP Mission: indicating what we do to achieve our vision, and the CPS-ECP Values: proclaiming what keeps us strong. You can find these posted on our CPS-ECP website. These build on our proud traditions and all of the Board members appreciate the discussions they held with you, at their own and other Squadrons or Districts, which enriched and advanced our discussions. These renewed Vision, Mission and Values Statements should serve us well as a grounding and a focus that takes us into a successful future.

The mountains offer their own flavour of marine adventure with their series of long, deep ribbon lakes, and there is perhaps no area that embodies this more uniquely than the iconic Okanagan basin in southern B.C. One could be forgiven for assuming this valley was purpose-built for nautical fun, with a few delightful perks thrown in to make the area entirely irresistible (wine-tasting, anyone?).
