Sidney Fire Chief Brett Mikkelsen said crews were called to the Port Sidney Marina around 2:45 p.m. on Saturday February 9th, for reports of a boat on fire.

When it comes to boat shows, boot (With a lowercase ‘b’) in Dusseldorf, Germany offers a wide range of boats and equipment that are hard to locate on this side of the Atlantic. As such, it makes a great international destination for Canadian boaters, although it has yet to catch on in large numbers.

The 61st annual Toronto International Boat Show, North America’s Largest Indoor Boat Show, concluded another very successful year this past Sunday, January 27 with many exhibitors reporting strong sales results, despite a slight dip in attendance due to inclement weather.

UK Sailmakers is re-opening in Ontario under the ownership of long time Canadian sailor Randy St. Jacques. Randy has 50 years of experience both racing and cruising on many boats. Shellbacks Report and Programming
The Shellbacks Club of Toronto started their Christmas season with their annual Moosemilk luncheon. Gathering at Mimico Cruising Club, the Shellbacks had a delicious meal complemented by moose milk (egg nog and rum) and other Christmas delicacies. The buffet and dessert table that Mimico put out was spectacular.
