Nautisme Québec invite tous les plaisanciers québécois à compléter un sondage visant à améliorer les connaissances sur les préoccupations environnementales quant aux plaisirs et loisirs nautiques. L’organisme à but non lucratif qui, depuis 29 ans, représente activement l’industrie du nautisme et de la plaisance au Québec, lance ce sondage « dans un contexte où la plaisance et les activités nautiques sont au cœur d’enjeux environnementaux, économiques et socio-politiques ».

Les données recueillies seront traitées de manière confidentielle. Vous avez jusqu’au 31 août 2025 pour compléter ce sondage.

Tahiti—Updates from Paradise

I’ve been to Tahiti seven times—six on charter and once as crew for a couple of yachties. Over the 25 years that I’ve been visiting, it’s changed dramatically. Yet, inexplicably, it has also stayed the same.

Lounging on the flybridge of our Sunsail 454, I had time to think about this dichotomy as I toasted the nighttime skies of Bora Bora and specifically the Southern Cross, a constellation that never fails to hypnotize. As the Crosby, Stills & Nash (1982) tune reminds us:
