L'équipe NorthStar SailGP en 7e place à New York

L’équipe NorthStar SailGP a terminé 7e au classement général de la 6e étape de la saison 2025 de SailGP à New York qui s’est tenue lors du premier weekend de juin. L’équipe canadienne occupe actuellement la cinquième place du classement général 2025.

Sous la direction de Diego Botin, l’Espagne a enregistré deux victoires consécutives après avoir battu de manière spectaculaire la Nouvelle-Zélande et la France.

Les Espagnols ont remporté le départ et ont atteint 72 km/h pour contenir de justesse les Kiwis avec une mince avance de trois secondes à chaque porte, avant de franchir la ligne devant la foule massée sur les quais de Brooklyn, devant Governors Island, située dans l’Upper Bay du port de New-York.

La prochaine étape aura lieu à Portsmouth, au Royaume-Uni, du 19 au 20 juillet.
