Denison Yacht Sales now accepting cyber currency

Yachting industry leader Denison Yacht Sales has announced that it will now accept the online peer-to-peer payment system, Bitcoin, for yacht purchases and yacht charters.  The cyber currency is becoming an increasingly popular way to purchase many different types of goods and services including electronics, food, automobiles, travel and even education.

“We need to be present and available to all potential clients in all marketplaces and if a client wants to pay with Bitcoins, we are now positioned to handle the transaction,” said Bob Denison, president of Denison Yacht Sales.  “With the sale of just one medium sized yacht using this currency, we would be poised to make the largest Bitcoin transaction in history.”

Payments will be processed through BitPay the world’s largest bitcoin payment service provider. BitPay provides payment processing services for more than 50,000 businesses and processes more than $1 million (USD) daily.

Along with used brokerage yachts for sale, Denison also will accept Bitcoin for purchases of the new boat lines they represent, including Monte Carlo Yachts, Beneteau Power, Dufour Sailing Yachts, Fountaine Pajot, Pirelli Yacht tenders and Contender Fishing Boats.

Denison Yacht Sales has long been a leader in the yachting industry with a rich family history dating back to 1948 with the start of Broward Marine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Today, the company provides complete yachting services worldwide, from sales and charter to yacht management and new construction.  Denison’s team of brokers has more than 300 years combined experience in yacht sales, providing knowledgeable service to clients worldwide.  Denison Yacht Sales office locations include Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; St. Petersburg, Florida; Naples, Florida; Montauk, New York; Marina del Rey, California; Newport Beach, California; Holland, Michigan; Seattle, Washington; Charleston, South Carolina; and Antibes, France.
