Features this year include:

World’s Largest Indoor Lake for Boaters. Everyone’s favourite showstopper – The Lake – is back to Put Some Summer in Your Winter!
The world’s largest indoor lake for boaters returns to Ricoh Coliseum for the 2014 Toronto International Boat Show, where novice and experienced boaters can get their feet wet by taking advantage of FREE boat rides from Discover Boating in canoes, kayaks, paddleboats and inflatable boats.

Boat Rides for the Whole Family
Boat rides are available on the world’s largest indoor lake for boaters, along with wakeboarding lessons, practices and demonstrations by trained experts using the Sesitec System that gently and safely pulls riders across the water. Lifejackets, wetsuits and wakeboards are provided in all sizes. All activities are FREE with admission, making the Toronto International Boat Show the best entertainment value for your dollar. Children 16 years and under are admitted FREE when accompanied by an adult.

Russell Newberry – Dungeness Crabber to Deadliest Catch!
New this year! Russell Newberry talks about the “world’s most dangerous job” aboard fishing vessels in the Bering Sea, battling treacherous seas, frigid conditions and taking unforeseen risk! Visit Russell each day of the show as he makes his debut in Toronto speaking about his experiences fishing for crab when he was 15 aboard the dungeness crabber “Granite Sea”, a 42 ft concrete vessel out of Homer AK and then in 2007 he landed jobs on several fishing vessels including the “Time Bandit”, “Wizard” and “Kodiak”, featured vessels on Discovery channel’s Deadliest Catch.

Looking for an authentic hands-on experience? Wondering where you can find a fun, interactive, creative space for kids to make, create and learn? Interested in immersing yourself in a one-day paddle carving class or engaging in process of building a canoe? Have you wanted to visit this national treasure in Peterborough, Ontario but haven’t made the trip?

Duma the Famous Wakeboarding & Boat-Driving Dog!
Back by popular demand, Duma is making waves again at the 2014 Toronto International Boat Show.

Kids Fishing Zone
Share the thrill of hooking a big one with the kids at the Kids Fishing Zone – a live trout pond at the Toronto Boat Show. Expert anglers and television hosts Leo Stakos and Ron James of Rogers Sportsnet – Fish TV will take your children from their first cast to their first catch with plenty of laughs in between.

Just when you thought you might never see the Galley Guys again, there they were waving from the flying bridge of a Le Boat Horizon 3 gliding down the Trent Severn Waterway (TSW) in the sun. Glorious!

In the past the Galley Guys have travelled far and wide to great locations to explore the good life on a boat. However, this year we stayed in our own backyard for a real treat; cruising The Trent Severn Waterway.
