Seattle Boat Show Offers Special Travel Packages

Seattle Boat Show

West Coast’s largest boat show just one of many reasons to visit Seattle in January

The Seattle Boat Show (Indoors +Afloat) is so popular it attracts visitors from 41 US states, six Canadian provinces and as far away as Dubai.

And with good reason. It’s the largest boat show on the West Coast and the third largest in the U.S., with two locations — indoors at Century LinkField Event Center and afloat at South Lake Union. To make it easy for out-of-town visitors, show organizers have put together an array of travel specials which include Victoria Clipper and Amtrak packages and rates as low as $126.00 per night at conveniently located downtown hotels. The show opens Jan. 23 and runs through Feb. 1, 2015.

Seattle in January is one of those great off-season destinations. The summer crowds are gone, you can stroll leisurely and comfortably through the Pike Place Market, and post-holiday shopping bargains abound. Seattle is also a foodie’s dream come true, with lots of the Northwest’s best restaurants to explore once the Boat Show has closed each night. And January is crab and oyster season, so there’s no better time to try Seattle’s world-renowned seafood.
