The 2016 Sail Nova Scotia Annual General Meeting will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Halifax Boat Show. All attendees will receive a free pass to attend the Show.

There will also be meetings prior to and following the AGM.
From 10am – 12noon LTS Directors will meet and then from 2pm – 3:30pm, Club Commodores will meet.

As I shift our chartered canal boat into neutral, I’m soothed by the soundtrack of bird calls, the occasional plaintive horn of a distant train and the hum of our engine.
I reach for the VHF to radio the lockmaster in charge of Erie Canal’s Lock 32 dead ahead. Our boat spins gently in the current like a maple key in a mud puddle.
“This is Onondaga,” I say. “Headed westbound and requesting passage.”
