From January 25 – March 31, Parks Canada is asking the public to read its Draft Management Plan and share their feedback.

What is a top priority for you as a visitor / resident / business owner?

What role do you think Parks Canada can have in managing the canal?

What do you imagine this plan looks like in action?

How to participate:

1. Read the Draft Management Plan at www.rideauplan.ca/home

2. Register to Comment and Post

3. Contribute with tools designed to help us evaluate the plan, and add your ideas for putting the plan into action

Parks Canada manages one of the finest and most extensive systems of protected natural and historic places in the world. The Agency’s mandate is to protect and present these places for the benefit and enjoyment of current and future generations. The plan will serve as the focus for ongoing engagement on the management of Rideau Canal and Merrickville Blockhouse National Historic Sites in years to come.
