Come to the Redpath Waterfront Festival and Party on the Promenade as we celebrate Toronto’s newly revitalized waterfront June 19-21, 2015. 

The party starts on Friday evening with a Waterfront Parade. The parade starts at Sherbourne Common and Spadina Wave Deck and ends at HTO Park for the incredible grand opening show. The Party on the Promenade continues all weekend long with a 2km stretch of entertainment and activities along the newly revitalized Queens Quay Boulevard and Martin Goodman Trail. Enjoy buskers, dance demonstrations, art on the water, parades, a Waterfront Artisan Market, live music and more.

Tahiti—Updates from Paradise

I’ve been to Tahiti seven times—six on charter and once as crew for a couple of yachties. Over the 25 years that I’ve been visiting, it’s changed dramatically. Yet, inexplicably, it has also stayed the same.

Lounging on the flybridge of our Sunsail 454, I had time to think about this dichotomy as I toasted the nighttime skies of Bora Bora and specifically the Southern Cross, a constellation that never fails to hypnotize. As the Crosby, Stills & Nash (1982) tune reminds us:
