Race the Cape 2016: July 18 to 24

Race the cape 2016

Feb 22, 2016

Race the Cape is an event, a sailing regatta, for boaters, their families and friends that unfolds over a week each July on Cape Breton Island. Now in its fourth year Race the Cape is seven days of challenging point-to-point sail racing, both inland and coastal ocean. There are five legs of up to 40 nautical miles through the island’s amazing Bras d’Or Lakes and along Cape Breton’s rugged Atlantic coast.

Regatta co-ordinator, Jennifer Rowe tells us registration is ahead of last year and it looks like the event is likely to continue to grow. Check out www.racethecape.com
