As we all know, due to the current health conditions the 2020 National Conference in October is now virtual conference. We will be attending the conference from the comfort of our own homes.

Make sure you still have that feeling that you are in attendance at the conference by wearing your “VISION 2020” apparel while attending the meetings and other activities.

For those of you who don’t have your “VISION 2020” apparel yet, there is still time to order yours. The Conference Committee still has a number of the Golf Shirts and other items in stock. We are offering a special promotion because of the current situation. FREE SHIPPING for all orders and we will include a Ladies Scarf at no charge. (While supplies last)

Tahiti—Updates from Paradise

I’ve been to Tahiti seven times—six on charter and once as crew for a couple of yachties. Over the 25 years that I’ve been visiting, it’s changed dramatically. Yet, inexplicably, it has also stayed the same.

Lounging on the flybridge of our Sunsail 454, I had time to think about this dichotomy as I toasted the nighttime skies of Bora Bora and specifically the Southern Cross, a constellation that never fails to hypnotize. As the Crosby, Stills & Nash (1982) tune reminds us:
