Please be advised that 134 models of Kidde fire extinguishers have been recalled.

Extinguishers manufactured from January 1, 1973 and August 15, 2017 and have a 10 digit model number on the label which confirms the date of manufacture. You will need that number to determine with Kidde representatives if you are entitled to a replacement extinguisher.

Please check your boats and homes to see if you have any Kidde fire extinguishers.

To contact Kidde about this recall:

Use their website www.kidde.com and then click on Product Safety Recall Notice box near the bottom of the page.

Or contact them by phone 1-855-271-0773

Be aware that Kidde staff will want you to have the extinguisher physically with you when you call them on the phone, so they can determine your eligibility for immediate replacement.
