The Canadian Safe Boating Council (CSBC) is a volunteer charitable organization. Our mission is to reduce the incidence of injuries and fatalities across Canada that occur as a result of recreational boating activities through innovative, relevant and effective measures. The CSBC recognizes and celebrates people, communities, and companies who understand current boating safety culture, and strive to influence and advance the industry through effective communication. With an in-depth and vast understanding of boating safety activities, CSBC is uniquely positioned as a veteran in the boating safety industry. The CSBC is at the heart of the boating community and works closely with a variety of stakeholders and partners in the marine industry to promote and recognize excellence in boating safety and those who positively impact our local waters.

Recognition provides an opportunity to showcase their commitment and heighten their efforts and together we can acknowledge boating heroes who make a difference.
