British Columbia boat builder Crescent Custom Yachts makes it big at the 2017 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

The Crescent Custom Yachts workforce represents some of the best talent from across the globe with exceptional naval architects, innovative designers, engineers with leading-edge technology experience and a group of specialty journeymen and craftspeople. This team collaborates to create unique custom luxury yachts that utilizes today’s best practices and standards. The efforts of this team were on display at this year’s Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show.
The builder showcased the Crescent 145’ Muchos Mas (sold) at the recent Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show. The boat also made the front cover and feature story of Boat International magazine’s show issue. They were superstar Canadians!
This notoriety created a lot of interest so there was great interest in all things Canadian. Other British Columbia vendors and suppliers also got a ton of attention at the show too. Tammy Charles the marketing and public relations director for Crescent Yachts expressed the company’s excitement with the reception, “To the best of our knowledge she is the largest recreational vessel to be built and launched in Canada in a number of years. Great for Canada and our attractive currency.”
Tammy added, “Our big news this week is that we are up for some prestigious international awards for the Crescent 145 Muchos Mas.”

To put into perspective just how successful their operations are to date Tammy Charles had this to say – “At present we have a Crescent 112’ that is sold and under construction in our shipyard. Also, a Crescent 108’ is available for sale. Ft. Lauderdale was very good for us and we see hiring more people in the foreseeable future. I think many other industry people are in the same position. Our sister company, Platinum Marine, has several large refit projects underway.”
