Sea Ray seeker – can our readers help?

Hello,

I read one of Andy Adam’s Canadian Yachting articles and I hope you can assist. I am a Canadian living in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, but was born in Freeport Bahamas.

I am currently in the process of selling both my car and motorcycle in the hopes I can use the money to buy a used boat probably in the mid 80s to mid 90s based on my research thus far. I like the Sea Ray Sundancer models 29’ and up, and also the Sea Ray aft cabins same year range. if there is any info that you can give me that may help in fulfilling this life long dream of mine to return home and possibly run a day charter business (to start) I’d really appreciate it.

Also any info on possibly joining a crew of a vessel headed from Ontario to the Bahamas (or any sites or numbers) that would help me find that info would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,

Robert Mitchell

Can you advise where we can watch for local release dates for the film Maiden in theatres in  Edmonton, Alberta, as I can not find anything on the Sony Pictures site indicating any distribution of it here out as far as late November.

Thanks,

David Rayner

It is playing at City Centre in Edmonton at the moment.

Tugnuts.com is quite a unique resource. The online forum has quick links to a chat, info about cruises & gatherings, a channel to ask questions of the Ranger Tugs Factory, Ranger Tugs Technical Discussions, “How to” videos and more.

Sailing into the Future at Antigua Sailing Week

By Mathew Channer

“Standby tack,” Canadian sailor Katy Campbell orders. The crew scrambles over the sheet lines and braces on the deck.

“Three, two, one, tack!”

I wait until the bow turns into the wind and the headsail snaps over, then crawl over the cabin top of Panacea X to the now windward side. The trim team smoothly sheets on the headsail and a competitor vessel shoots past our stern, feet away, as our Solana 45 beats eastward along Antigua’s south coast.
