As summer comes to an end the planning begins for next year’s adventure on the water and Moutcha Bay Resort is high on the bucket list.

You can bring your own boat to the Resort. They offer moorage at the fishing resort. Complementary boat launch is provided to registered guests at Moutcha Bay Resort and you can take advantage of their full-service marina with 70 boat slips.

Only 2 hours by road from Campbell River on Vancouver Island is Moutcha Bay Resort, nestled on the sheltered waters of magnificent Nootka Sound.

Anglers will find themselves landed in a fishing mecca at Moutcha Bay Resort, BC. Whether you are bringing your own boat, renting one from their fleet, or fishing with one of their professional guides, the salmon and bottom fishing in Nootka Sound is downright fantastic. Moutcha Bay Resort is central to the most consistent fishing anywhere on the west coast of BC with enormous migratory and homebound salmon runs every year. If you’d like to bring your catch home perfectly filleted and packaged, drop it off with the friendly team at their government certified fish processing facility, located in the lodge.

The marina offers secure floating docks, mortgage slips in a deep-water location with a private launch ramp, fish cleaning station, complementary barbecues, washrooms, coin-operated showers and laundry facilities.

Services at the Marina include complementary Wi-Fi 15/30 and 50 amp power hookups, a dock shack, fuel, tractor -assisted launch {for a fee), vehicle and trailer parking.

The dock shack located on the water in the Marina is open from May to September from 4:30 AM to 8 PM for the serve fresh coffee hot tea and hot chocolate rounded out with breakfast sandwiches and freshly goods.

For the fisherman there is ice, salt, lures, hooks, flashers, weights, rods, reels and bait.

The marina also offers gas diesel propane year-round.
