Prestige 420 – Luxury sport cruiser with performance

Apr 8, 2021
A luxury sport cruiser like the all new Prestige 420S has it all—lines that are easy on the eyes, a luxurious contemporary interior, and performance with the kind of command and control you need to make every cruise memorable.

Garroni Design delivers sleek, aerodynamic exterior styling for the 420S that is timeless and functional; sure to please owners walking down the dock for years to come. Within those lines, you’ll find an easy-living environment that is at once contemporary and appealing.
From the aft deck to the windshield fronting the salon, living afloat takes place on a single level. A full width, multi-panel sliding glass door stores aside to connect the salon and aft cockpit for comfortable living inside or out on pleasant days.

Prestige 420A large, modern galley is located aft in the salon, making entertaining or meal prep convenient to both the L-shaped lounge and table on the aft deck, as well as the forward dinette with table opposite the helm.

SalonLarge deep windows encircle the salon, allowing clear views of surrounding waters, anchorages and harbours. Two sliding side windows open, but the best feature for bringing the outdoors in, for increased natural light and ventilation, is the large, sliding sunroof forward.

Seating choices include twin adjustable lounge-style sunpads on the foredeck, an L-shaped lounge and table on the aft deck, a relaxing bench to starboard just aft of the helm, and a large lounge/dinette with table to port for those who would dine or relax and enjoy the views forward.

Stateroom

Prestige offers two staterooms, including an amidship owner’s cabin and spacious guest quarters forward. Two layouts are available, one with a single head and enclosed shower opposite a laundry locker and hanging locker, or another with a second head in lieu of the multi-purpose storage area.

With a standard joystick, precision electronic steering and engine controls, and reliable twin Cummins diesel engines, the Prestige 420S Coupe can run rapidly, cruise efficiently, and handle low-speed manoeuvring easily—when and where you need optimal command and control.

Nimbus 365 Coupe – A real long-stay cruising boat for exploring

By Andy Adams

Some are day cruisers; some are centre console fishing boats or designed for tow sports. A new live-aboard cabin boat has become a rare item these days.

So when I heard that Pride Marine in Orillia, Ontario, had a Nimbus 365 Coupe in the water, I jumped at the chance to get out on it.

Tahiti—Updates from Paradise

By Zuzana Prochaska

I’ve been to Tahiti seven times—six on charter and once as crew for a couple of yachties. Over the 25 years that I’ve been visiting, it’s changed dramatically. Yet, inexplicably, it has also stayed the same.

Lounging on the flybridge of our Sunsail 454, I had time to think about this dichotomy as I toasted the nighttime skies of Bora Bora and specifically the Southern Cross, a constellation that never fails to hypnotize. As the Crosby, Stills & Nash (1982) tune reminds us:

…you understand now why you came this way.
