Lilybaeum Yacht’s Luxurious Levanzo 25

New to Canada and available through Marine SCA, the recently established Lilybaeum Yacht, led by Giorgio Maggio and Vincenzo Marco Pecorella, both in their mid-twenties, are steering the company towards innovative waters with the introduction of their inaugural model – the Levanzo 25.

A Synthesis of Strength and Elegance

The Levanzo 25 blends a fisherman’s robustness with the grace and amenities of a compact yacht. With its high, flared bow, this 7.70 metres vessel promises not only a head-turning aesthetic but also a sturdy, reliable performance on the open sea. One of the standout features of this vessel is its deep “V” hull, boasting a 22-degree deadrise, designed to ensure a secure and dry journey, even when navigating through rough waters.

The full-open layout optimizes every nook and cranny of the hull, offering a luxurious and immersive marine experience. The strategic positioning of the outboard motors enhances the vessel’s functionality, paving the way for a spacious bathing platform that parallels the usability and surface area found on similarly sized units with inboard motors or stern drives.

Seamless Transition between Relaxation and Entertainment

The Levanzo 25 hosts dual sunbathing areas: the fixed rear area is complemented by a central walkway that seamlessly connects the cockpit to the bathing platform. The forward area morphs into a dining zone with the addition of an adjustable column table. The slender central console, while accommodating all necessary instrumentation, maintains generous lateral transit surfaces, making the central part of the hull easily accessible and usable.

A multi-functional unit serves as a support for the pilot’s seat, ingeniously housing a retractable sink, a cooktop, and an optional 42-liter refrigerator, blending luxury with convenience. Storage options are plentiful and strategically positioned throughout the vessel, with a notably spacious storage area beneath the rear sunbathing spot.

Tailored to Your Desires

Lilybaeum Yacht offers a commitment to personalizing each vessel to the owner’s preferences. They dedicate substantial effort and resources to meticulously select each accessory added to the already comprehensive standard equipment list, which includes features such as a T-top, cork decking, an electric anchor winch, LED lights, a shower, and much more.

With the launch of the Levanzo 25 on the horizon, Lilybaeum Yacht is already planning its next venture, the Lipari 30, currently in the design phase, promising to bring a new dimension of luxury and innovation to the maritime market.

Nimbus 365 Coupe – A real long-stay cruising boat for exploring

By Andy Adams

There is no shortage of fun and exciting new boat designs hitting the market, but for the last few years these have been mainly outboard-powered day boats. Some are day cruisers; some are centre console fishing boats or designed for tow sports. A new live-aboard cabin boat has become a rare item these days.

So when I heard that Pride Marine in Orillia, Ontario, had a Nimbus 365 Coupe in the water, I jumped at the chance to get out on it.

Tahiti—Updates from Paradise

By Zuzana Prochaska

I’ve been to Tahiti seven times—six on charter and once as crew for a couple of yachties. Over the 25 years that I’ve been visiting, it’s changed dramatically. Yet, inexplicably, it has also stayed the same.

Lounging on the flybridge of our Sunsail 454, I had time to think about this dichotomy as I toasted the nighttime skies of Bora Bora and specifically the Southern Cross, a constellation that never fails to hypnotize. As the Crosby, Stills & Nash (1982) tune reminds us:

…you understand now why you came this way.
