The Atlantic District of CanBoat is again hosting a rendez-vous point during SailGP with free admission for all. This international event is an exciting series of races that take place in Halifax Harbour,

On Father’s Day weekend, Saturday, June 20th, our venue is near MetroPark, a large parking garage, entered at either 1556 Hollis Street or 1557 Granville Street.

We will be on a pedestrian-only street at The Pint Public House. Here we have our own space for the afternoon to eat, drink, and to reconnect while watching the race on multiple big screens.

The Pint is within easy walking distance of the waterfront. If, however, you decide not to get tickets to watch the SailGP event from the waterfront, there are various vantage points from which to see the races, even from Metro Park.

The Pint is a warm convenient spot from which to head out to explore the downtown and waterfront areas. Bring friends and stay a while, as there will be draws for prizes throughout the afternoon for all attendees. The Binnacle and CanBoat have joined to make available $400 worth of door prizes.

The Binnacle is conveniently located just two minutes off the Armdale Roundabout at 1065 Purcells Cove Rd. CanBoat Atlantic will be providing various nibbles/appetizers during our time there.

Please join us! No RSVP required. See you there!

Canada’s Superior: the North Shore

Story and photos by Jennifer M. Smith
