The trawler world is a growing segment and Trawlerfest is where it reigns. So enthusiasts will be delighted to learn that after several re-jigs and a cancellation, Trawlerfest in now going full speed (well, trawler speed) for Newport RI on Thursday, August 26 to Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Newport Shipyard, 1 Washington Street, Newport, RI.

The only issue is how to get there, but perhaps by late August the border will be open.

Trawlerfest features an impressive in-water selection of new and pre-owned cruising powerboats, the latest in marine gear and services, and first-class education & demonstrations. Trawlerfest is more than a boat show; it’s where industry, education and community come together in an intimate, rendezvous atmosphere.

Trawlerfest Trivia WinnersThere is also an impressive Seminar series and lots of opportunities to talk and enjoy the trawler passage making lifestyle. All seminars will be held on the 3rd floor at the Newport Marriott Hotel across the street from the Newport Shipyard. Seminar registration will be at the hotel on the 3rd floor.

General Admission is $15 in advance, $18 onsite. Seminar tickets include General Admission to the boat show on the day of the seminar.
