Do you like to write and have a knack for doing so creatively in a timely fashion? If so, CPS-ECP is looking for you and your talents.

Co-operating with various CPS-ECP committees and assisted by a team of seven people, our Chair of Communication will help create and implement communication initiatives based on CPS-ECP’s goals and objectives for its squadrons and districts as well as help develop and implement a CPS-ECP national level communication strategy.

Chair of Communication duties include the following:

• Develop and implement an integrated strategic communications plan to help advance CPS-ECP’s local, regional and national identity.

• Broaden the internal and external awareness of CPS-ECP’s courses and activities by increasing the visibility of its programs to its key constituents.

• Work with squadrons, districts and national office staff to recognize internal and external communication opportunities and define and execute appropriate strategies to support those opportunities.

Bayfield Marine Turns 40 with Big April Events

Ron and Pat Reder started out in October 1984 across the road from where they are right now on the Bayfield River in Bayfield ON. The store front was about 10 x 20 and the rest of that side of the building was a stock room, wood finishing room, then behind that was more back stock and the lunchroom. Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
