On April 6, 2018 The Midland Bay Sailing Club along with North Sails will present an evening with Steve Killing at the Midland Cultural Centre.

Yacht designer Steve Killing is a six-time America’s Cup veteran with firsthand accounts of how the competition in the blue waters of Bermuda did not disappoint. Steve was a member of the Technical Race Management Team for the 35th America’s Cup and will give his insider’s perspective of all the competitors and their designs.

Steve has again been asked to sit on the Technical Race Management Team for the 2021 America’s Cup in New Zealand. It is rumoured that epic sailing event will be held on foiling monohulls that can reach speeds of over 40 knots.

FYI… The last talk sold out. Tickets are available at http://mbsc.ticketspice.com/ac2017. Following Steve’s talk, the evening will include an auction of some great boating gear, with all proceeds going to The Midland Bay Sailing School.
