New Argyle International Airport for St. Vincent and the Grenadines

Getting to the Caribbean can often be the only tricky part of chartering down south. But there is good news from St Vincent and the Grenadines where Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has announced that the Argyle International Airport has been given the necessary go ahead to start operations at the Argyle International Airport.

on Monday January 23, 2017, the Prime Minister said he was handed a letter from the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority (ECCAA) that very morning, by the person in charge of Civil Aviation matters Permanent Secretary Godfred Pompey, indicating that the organization has given the go ahead to the Argyle International Airport to commence operations as at one minute past midnight on February 14, 2017.

The inaugural direct flight from Toronto departs next week on February 14 for a week via Sunwing, the first international flight from Canada. The cost is a very attractive $899 return. Schedules have not yet been published are scheduled yet, but the plan is to provide easy SVG access from Canadian gateways to the new airport.
