Colin Mann recently stepped down from the Sail Canada Race Management Committee after many years of service. As a Sail Canada certified National Race Officer, he contributes to the on-water delivery of Lunenburg Yacht Club’s weeknight club races, and regattas through Nova Scotia. His ongoing participation as a winning sailor keeps comrades and fellow members enthusiastic about getting out on the water! Mann is commended for his contribution to Sail Nova Scotia’s Atlantic Sailing Conference, having delivered interesting and informative sessions there.

The Lunenburg Yacht Club is a Member Club with Sail Nova Scotia and Sail Canada. LYC delivers Sail Canada programming to juniors, adults & persons with disabilities, and runs weeknight racing throughout the sailing season.

Bayfield Marine Turns 40 with Big April Events

Ron and Pat Reder started out in October 1984 across the road from where they are right now on the Bayfield River in Bayfield ON. The store front was about 10 x 20 and the rest of that side of the building was a stock room, wood finishing room, then behind that was more back stock and the lunchroom. Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
