Tomatoe Pesto Tortellini Soup

Soup season is in full swing and this Tomato Tortellini Soup with Pesto is just the recipe to warm your belly.  Any recipe that lends itself to a slow cooker and very little prep is a galley recipe for sure.  This dish combines comfort on cool fall days with ease of preparation and surprisingly terrific taste.  Let us know how you liked it!

Ingredients to Make Tomato Tortellini Soup with Pesto

    1 Family Size Can of Tomato Soup
    2 Cups Milk
    1 Cup Chicken Broth
    2 Teaspoons Pesto
    1 Pound Frozen Cheese Tortellini
    1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese

Instructions for Making Tomato Tortellini Soup with Pesto

Step 1 – Pour the tomato soup, milk, chicken broth and pesto into the slow cooker and cook on low for 3 hours

Step 2 – 30 minutes before you are ready to eat add the Frozen Cheese Tortellini to the soup and let it cook, if you put the tortellini in for the entire three hours it becomes mushy so wait until the end.

Bayfield Marine Turns 40 with Big April Events

Ron and Pat Reder started out in October 1984 across the road from where they are right now on the Bayfield River in Bayfield ON. The store front was about 10 x 20 and the rest of that side of the building was a stock room, wood finishing room, then behind that was more back stock and the lunchroom. Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
