The editorial team at Canadian Boating engaged with hundreds of marine facilities to update their services offered. We travelled by car and boat to meet with businesses and boaters alike gathering recommendations for improvements to the guide.

Your suggestions resulted in the following upgrades to the 2025 PORTS Guide:

• The introduction of QR codes for each harbour, allowing boaters to quickly access updated community services, events and highlights via their cell phones.
• A new index of anchorages in the PORTS Guide to select potential “hidey” spots.
• Beyond listing community medical services for you and your crew, the 2025 PORTS Guide now facilitates online access to veterinary services throughout Ontario’s boating regions.
• Anchorages listed were analyzed and updated, clarifying the best approach and positioning.
• A new index of ports was developed so that you can quickly find your next harbour destination.
• Expanded coverage includes St. Joseph Island and the ports of Richards Landing and Hilton Beach.
• Updated CHS chart listings as well as NOAA’s 2025 deletions of their paper charts.
