The Advanced Marine Radar seminar is for those who have taken Basic Marine Radar with Kevin Monahan and wish to learn about: • advanced techniques in collision avoidance • navigation using radar as an alternative to electronic charts in areas that do not have accurate electronic charts • managing interactions between radar and other electronic technologies such as AIS, GPS, digital compasses • causes and cures of radar overlay errors.
