Destinations: Heading to Europe? Take in BOOT

BOOT 2024 Site Map

boot Düsseldorf , January 20-28, is the largest show for watersports in the world. For Canadians it’s an opportunity for seeing and touring the best in power and sail that Europe (and the world’s) builders have in their line.  Increasingly European boats are making an impact in Canadian waters and it’s quite impressive to see the entire line of brands that we might rarely see side by side. Then when they become available on Canadian shores, you’ve already got a head start.

If you have never been, you’re in for a treat. There are 16 (yes!) buildings full of boats and marine exhibitors. The inside space is the equivalent of 31 football fields with approximately 1500 international exhibitors including everything from luxury yachts to cruisers, racing one-designs, and several halls full of equipment and accessories. The show takes up the entire Messe Dusseldorf complex – a campus that often hosts several shows simultaneously, but for this week it’s all marine.

As January approaches, OnBoard will connect you with the exhibitor lists and more on this unique event.

Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
