On Sunday, August 21, the Royal Canadian Yacht Club (RCYC) held its fourth annual Paddlethon in support of RMHC Toronto. RCYC members fundraised more than $64,000 for the charity by paddling around RCYC South Island on anything that floats – all in an effort to help keep families together and close to their sick children in the hospital.
“On behalf of the thousands of families who stay with us each year, thank you to the Paddlethon event committee, participants and volunteers for your fundraising efforts that help keep families together during their most difficult time.” – Catherine Bridgman, CEO, Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto.
Since its inception in 2018, the RCYC Paddlethon has raised more than $165,000 for RMHC Toronto.
