Jarrett Bay 54 refit featuring Aqualuma Generation 4 18 Series LEDs

Starflite, a 1999 Jarrett Bay Boatworks custom 54 sportfisherman, winner of a Refit Excellence Award at the recent Refit International Exhibition & Conference in Fort Lauderdale, is illuminated by five blue Aqualuma® Gen 4 18 Series Thru-Hull LED underwater lights.

Starflite underwent a two-year refit between April 2013 and May 2015 at the Jarrett Bay yard in Beaufort, North Carolina.

Since 2004, Aqualuma has perfected the art form of underwater lighting and the company’s LEDs are the lights of choice for many of the world’s leading boat manufacturers.

The Gen 4 18 Series Thru-Hull LED illuminates some of the world’s largest superyachts, with a huge light output, at an affordable price in Aqualuma’s patented one piece polymer housing, that can be serviced from inside the vessel. Aqualuma 6 and 12 Series owners have the ability to upgrade to the 18 Series from inside the boat – with no haul out.

The 18 Tri Series combines the brilliance of the blue and white and offers customers the choice of two colors (nine blue and nine white LEDs) in a one piece, robust, corrosion-proof and injection-molded polymer housing. Choose to operate just one of Aqualuma’s colours, or run them together to get a mix of the two, at an intensity that is equal to a single 18 Series ultra light.

I’m a boater – I always take friends and visitors to Frind when we’re on the boat.

Frind Winery is the perfect place for boaters to go for lunch or dinner in the Kelowna area.  You can tie up on the dock or beach your pontoon on the spacious beach.

Frind has an Italian style brick pizza oven for gourmet pizzas and a great selection of other menu items.  You can eat on the patio, at a picnic table, on the beach, or on the lawn. You can also get your order to go and enjoy your meal out on the lake.
